NPP youth urged to work hard ...

....for the Party's victory

Dromankese (B/A), July 8, GNA - Mr Kwame Ampofo Twumasi, Nkoranza District Chief Executive (DCE), has urged New Patriotic Party (NPP) youth to work hard for it to win the two parliamentary seats in the District.

Speaking at the inauguration of United Youth Club, a branch of the youth wing of the Party at Dromankese in Brong Ahafo, the DCE advised members to be Law-abiding, disciplined and give due respect to authority.

"Members of the Club should guard against meddling in chieftaincy matters and land disputes", he said adding that they should comport themselves at political campaign rallies and never indulge in acts that could disrupt Election 2004.

He called on Assembly Members, traditional rulers, and religious leaders and unit committees to promote unity, peace and understanding among the people.

Mr Felix Joe Appiah, Assembly Member for Dromankese-Ahenebronum Electoral Area, commended the NPP Youth for coming together to support the Government and urged them to work hard to win more members. He advised them to embark on communal labour activities and initiate development projects to help improve the living standard of the people. Mallam Tahiru Mohammed is the Chairman of the Club with Mr Yaw Gyamfi as the Vice Chairman and Mr Amoah Forson as Secretary.
