NPP aspiring candidates advised to conduct their affairs well

Nkawkaw, Feb 10, GNA - Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, New Patriotic Part= y (NPP) Presidential Candidate, on Thursday advised the party's parliamenta= ry aspirants not to repeat the mistake they made in 2008 that led the party to lose a number of parliamentary seats to the National Democratic Congress. He said everyone harbouring parliamentary ambition would be allowed to contest the parliamentary primaries in all the constituencies. Nana Akufo-Addo was speaking on a local radio station at Nkawkaw as part of his tour of the Eastern Region.

He said the NPP had pragmatic policies and programmes to relieve the people from the hardship and poverty facing them if voted into power in the 2012 General Elections.

Nana Akufo Addo therefore urged supporters of the party to vote massively for the party in next year's election. He said he would continue from where former President John Agyekum Kufour had left off by solving the numerous problems facing the people for them to earn a decent living. A leading member of the party, Mr Yaw Osafo Maafo, urged supporters of the party in the Eastern Region to bury their differences and vote massivel= y for Nana Akufo-Addo. The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Wugon, Mrs Frema Osei- Opare, sai= d the party would settle all disputes and misunderstanding among members and supporters in all the constituencies before the primaries would be held.
