NDC youth advised to assist in development

Mr Kojo Yankah, Member of Parliament for Agona East, has advised the Agona East Young wing of the National democratic congress (NDC) to assist in the development of the area. He gave the advice when he toured the area on May Day to inspect a number of projects currently under construction.

Some of the projects which is being extended to other villages in the area and the Agona Asafo Day Care Centre. He told the youth to work hard so as to ensure the realisation of the government's aim of providing better living standards.

Mr Yankah who is also the Deputy Minister of Information, appealed to the people in the area to set up businesses to offer employment for the youth. At Agona Asafo, he met a number of people who have joined the NDC and advised them to be loyal and uphold the ideals of the party. Opanin Kwesi Kyere, a former New Patriotic Party constituency chairman, now with the NDC said he has joined NDC because of its principle of rural development.
