NDC would return to power with better policies

Kuntanase (Ash), Sept. 29, GNA- Mr Alex Yaw Opoku, Deputy Ashanti Regional Propaganda Secretary, of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has said having identified all its past mistakes and corrected them, the party was returning to power with better policies.

Mr Opoku said this on Tuesday at the launch of the new NDC card at Kuntanase in the Bosomtwe constituency.

The first card was bought for one million cedis by Mr Edward Isaac Boateng, NDC Parliamentary candidate for the constituency.

Mr Daniel Ohene Agyekum, a member of the National Executive Committee urged the party's functionaries and supporters not to be deceived by the huge crowd they saw at the recent NPP congress in Kumasi.

He said the NDC was preparing to split the votes in Ashanti with the NPP and clinch victory with the results from the other regions. Mr Kwame Amankwa, the constituency chairman of the NDC called the supporters of the various political parties to see themselves as one people and as such conduct their campaign in peace.
