NDC will win elections - MP

Nsawam, June 10, GNA - Mr Ofosu Ampofo, Member of Parliament, for Fanteakwa, in the Eastern Region, and National Organiser of the NDC, said on Thursday, that, the Party would win this year's elections, through high quality organisation.
Mr Ampofo, who was speaking at a ceremony, to introduce Mr Thomas Kissiedu Okai, former District Secretary for Akwapim North as NDC parliamentary candidate for Akwapim South, said the ruling NPP, had failed to satisfy the needs of the people.
Mr Okai promised to complete all projects initiated by the NDC if he were voted as MP.
The aspiring MP, called on the Party Executives and supporters to organise house - to - house campaigns to ensure the victory of NDC in Election 2004.
Mr Ohene Kena, former Minister of Energy and Eastern Regional Chairman of NDC, urged Mr Okai to organise supporters to go to the rural areas to educate the people on the need to vote the NPP out of office. Mr Spence Adu Banafo, Akwapim South Constituency Organiser, said the electoral victory of the NDC would lead to job creation to end the plight of able-bodied people who were selling dog chains on the streets or travelling abroad to practice prostitution.
