NDC supporters charged to unite for victory in 2012

Aiyinase (W/R), May 28, GNA - Mr. Daniel K. Eshun, District Chief Executive for Ellembelle, has asked National Democratic Congress (NDC) faithfuls to unite and work hard to retain the party in power in Election 2012.

He observed that it was through the dedication of some supporters that NDC won the last General Election.

Mr. Eshun, who made the call at a bye-election to choose new executives for Aiyinase zonal NDC in the district, at Aiyinase, called on Ghanaians to support the Government to enable it to deliver on "the Better Ghana Agenda." The new executives are Mr. Onasis Armoo Hammond, Secretary, Mr. Kingsford Fulley, Deputy Secretary and Mr. Solomon Forjoer Organizer. Mr.Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, a Deputy Minister for Energy, commended NDC supporters in the Ellembelle constituency for being law-abiding and dedicated to the party.

He noted that even though some party faithfuls and cadres in other parts of the country had issues to contend with, members in the constituency had demonstrated high sense of devotion, discipline and selflessness. Mr. Buah, who is also Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, appealed to the people to be patient with the Government and said that efforts were being made to fix the economy.

Mr. Hammond pledged that the new executives would work assiduously to retain the party in power in 2012.
