NDC parliamentary candidate for Ho Central launches campaign

Benjamin Kpodo, an Accountant, on Saturday launched his campaign to annex the parliamentary seat of Ho Central on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He pledged to facilitate the linking of roads in all the communities within the constituency.

He explained that a fluid inter-community access would make local governance and intra-constituency trading activities and social interaction more eventful.

Mr. Kpodo told a well-attended rally after a float through Ho Township that he would also fight to get the Volta Regional capital a metropolitan status.

Mr. Kpodo who beat incumbent Member of Parliament, Captain George Nfojoh (Rtd) said he would justify the huge confidence reposed in him.

He said he would make Ho Central pacesetters in the development of the region.

Mr. Kpodo said besides serving as a good intermediary between the people and government agencies, he would also promote their interest in many other ways.

He said his campaign would strive to get all the votes for himself and President John Mahama, presidential candidate for the NDC.

Mr. Isaac Kodobisah, Ho Municipal Chief Executive said government had for the past three years and over achieved a lot in infrastructure development in the municipality in the fields of education, health and local governance.
