NDC lacks ideas for moving the nation forward

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Asante-Akim South, Mr. Kwaku Asante-Boateng, has called on voters to reject the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on December 7 for its awful performance and unfulfilled election promises.

He said the government had demonstrated that it lacked ideas for turning the nation’s fortunes around and to make things better for the population.

Addressing hundreds of supporters of the NPP at his campaign launch at Obogu near Juaso, he said it was sad to see social interventions introduced by the Kufuor Administration collapsing under the NDC.

He said the expectation was that if the government could not implement any new pro-poor policies, what it inherited, would be protected.

Mr. Asante-Boateng told the cheering crowd that it was only the NPP that could transform the economy and improve the living conditions of the people.

He said the pledge by the party’s presidential candidate to make Senior High School (SHS) education free was not a mere campaign tool to win the upcoming elections but that it would be implemented.

Mr. Asante-Boateng said the upcoming polls offered a perfect opportunity for Ghanaians to return the NPP to power to end the suffering, joblessness and mediocrity in government.

He appealed to the supporters to work hard, go from house-to-house to win more voters and must be vigilant to prevent cheating.
