NDC dashes Prez Mahama deodorant to win votes

Another primitive tactic that has been adopted by the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to con voters in the rural areas of the Brong Ahafo Region to vote for the party, has been uncovered by Daily Guide.

This time round, NDC agents and surrogates are busily distributing President John Dramani branded body spray to potential voters in the remote villages in Brong Ahafo as part of the party’s grand scheme to buy votes to advance their political fortunes in the December 7 election.

The practice, Daily Guide can confirm, is rampant in villages in the Tain, Banda, Jaman North and the Sene East and West constituencies of the region.

The NDC, which is desperate in retaining power, has been cited in distributing free cars popularly called ‘Atta Kamboo’ to students in some public and private universities in the country and other party activists.

President Mahama’s campaign efforts have also been channeled to doling out cross-country vehicles to some imams and chiefs.

The ruling party, which has been accused by several civil society organizations of incumbency abuses, is reported to have influenced some selected media practitioners with huge monies and cars to use their platforms to do the bidding of the President.

Daily Guide has sighted another fleet of brand new cross-country vehicles which have been registered ‘Vote JM 2012’ currently being used by the errand boys of the President.
