NDC, NPP MP’s are all selfish and careless about Ghana - PPP stalwart

A member of the communications team of the Progressive People's Party (PPP), Charles Owusu has said both the NDC and NPP Members of Parliament immensely concern about their self-interest rather than to serve the nation wholeheartedly.

Charles Owusu agrees with Gabby Asare Otchere Darko that the minority NPP MP’s are silent over happenings in the country.

According to the immediate-past Executive Director of the Danquah Institute, the NPP MPs have relinquished their responsibility to check the ruling government to civil society groups.

He claims that civil society groups are now more vigorous in holding government accountable than the MP’s.

Speaking to the issue on Adom FM, the PPP communicator opined that, although the NPP MP’s are relaxing on keeping the government on its toes, both sides, thus, NDC and NPP legislators’ careless about Ghana.

He however described the lawmakers as “selfish” and charged them to uphold the name of Ghana in high esteem.
