NDC 2020: Sly announces shortcode for fundraising

A flag bearer aspirant of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sylvester Mensah, has launched a fund-raising campaign ahead of the NDC flag bearer election.

Mr Mensah has announced an official shortcode through which contributions can be made.

The shortcode is *447*7*2020# on all networks, follow the prompts and donate.

Mr Mensah is the latest to join other aspirants like Prof Joshua Alabi and former President John Dramani Mahama who are using technology to raise funds for their campaign.

The flagbearer aspirants are expected to cough GHS300,000 as filing fees after it was reduced from the initial GHS400,000 due to the intervention of the party’s Council of Elders.

The primaries will be held on 26 January 2019.
