Minister asks politicians to set up Bigger Ghana Agenda Forum

Reverend Solomon Kotei, General Overseer of the Radiant Light Gospel Mission, has suggested the need for the political parties to initiate a “Bigger Ghana Agenda Forum”, to educate the youth against electoral violence.

He said due to the exuberance of the youth there is the need to create such a platform to woo them against acts that would mar the December 7 general election.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Accra, he said the Bigger Ghana Agenda Forum should make the “foot soldiers” of the parties a priority.

He noted that Ghana is bigger than all parochial interests hence the need to preserve national cohesion by imbibing nationalism in the citizenry.

“If there is any conflict the youth would be up in arms and this is the area where the commitment of peace should begin,” he said.

Rev. Kotei asked the security agencies to prepare adequately to ensure peace before, during and after the elections.
