The Minister for Employment and Labour Relations and Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South in the Northern Region Haruna Iddrisu at the weekend gave an account of his stewardship to constituents.

The event held at the RADACH Memorial and Conference Centre, paved the way for the minister and his constituents to interact and chart a new path ahead of the November 7 polls where he is seeking reelection as their representative in parliament.

According to him, the meeting was appropriate and in preparation for the 2016 General Election, indicating that it was also an avenue for stock taking in order to examine where he might have faulted as their MP and work towards correcting such mistakes going into the polls.

“This is Stock taking exercise, to examine where we faulted and failed to meet the satisfaction of the constituents and correct the wrongs going forward. It is also to educate constituents especially those who are not registered to take advantage of the limited registration exercise which begins April 28”, he said.

To this end, he appealed to them to work assiduously in delivering their respective polling stations to the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) by ensuring that votes declared are won massively by President John Dramani Mahama.
