It said the "house to house" campaigning which Prof Mills adopted in Ghanaian politics with the reception he has been receiving was phenomenal.

The statement said, "the warmth and affection that has been flying very high in the Teshie Township and its environs, has certainly moved the house-to-house campaign to a more exciting and touching level. "It has been, hug after hug, handshake after handshake, frank talk after frank talk, words of encouragement after words of encouragement, show of unalloyed support after show after unalloyed support, as the people of the Ledzekuku Constituency make it manifestly clear that the former Vice President is their one and only choice as President, come next year's general elections", the statement said. Giving new depth and breadth to the united front of the NDC, Mr. Eddie Annan, one of the four persons who contested for the NDC Flagbearership, has been with John Evans Atta Mills every step of the way.

The business man turned politician, who alongside Alhaji Mahama Idrissu and Ekow Spio Garbrah, to the chagrin of the NPP, pledged unfettered support for the Leader of the NDC, has not only been walking alongside John Evans Atta Mills, but has been a quasi Campaign Manager as he leads the propagating of the righteous "one for all and all for one" cum "Ghana first and political party affiliation second" gospel of John Evans Atta Mills and the NDC.

On Thursday, the door-to-door campaign saw Prof. Atta Mills and his Team walk the stretch of the Spintex Road, where they interacted with corporate entities and sharing his vision with them as to how an Atta Mills government would not pay lip-service to the private sector being the engine of growth.

Prof. Mills promised them that he would "do what it ought to do so that in tandem with the government's social democracy philosophy, the private sector would push Ghana's developmental agenda onto a higher pedestal. 07 Sept. 07
