Mahama's Govt Has No Legacy to Pursue...

....Their So-Called Agenda 50/50 In E/R- Eastern Patriots

In this era of severe hardship, what any serious government which think about the welfare of its citizens must do is to device strategies to salvage the citizens from this harsh economic confrontations. Unlike the NDC government, they are more interested in winning upcoming election rather than solving the problems that the citizens are facing.

Political parties are voted for based on their precedents particularly the physical development which serves as a memento. This physical infrastructure is one thing that the Mahama's NDC government has deprived the people of Eastern region off.

Eastern region has contributed tremendously towards national development since the struggle for independence for mother Ghana. The contributions of Eastern region towards national development in the past 7 years cannot be over emphasized.

However, Eastern region has been the first region which has been deprived off when it comes to the sharing of the national cake.

Eastern region has the most bad roads and the highest unemployment rate. Every district or constituency has bad roads especially those who fall within the Akyem Abuakwa traditional area. The road from Anyinam-Kwabeng-Abomosu-Asuom-Kade-Asamankese-Oda-Suhum is very ugly to look at. The main road liking the Accra-Kumasi thus Adoagyiri-Apedwa road which was speedily started by the Kuffuor's NPP government has been left untouched for the past six years.

We were shocked when president Mahama described Kibi - the traditional hometown of the people of Akyem Abuakwa as "Galamsey headquarters". Today he is back to apologize to the people of Akyem Abuakwa traditional area to solicit for their votes. What took the president a whole year before considering to come and render this fake apology which doesn't even correspond with his body language. Why must the president wait till now? To be honest , his body language did not show any humility towards the people of Akyem Abuakwa.

Eastern region is endowed with several kinds of mineral resource which the government derives its revenue from yet eastern region has nothing to show off since the Mills-Mahama's government took over. The Mahama/NDC administration has said nothing about constructing of mining sites in the region to create employment in the various mining towns.

In the midst of high youth unemployment, falling standard of education, high road accident due to bad roads, and high crime rate that is overwhelming eastern region, we were expecting the government to come out with measures to combat those hardships.

Mahama's government has proved that the plight of the people of eastern region does not concern them rather our votes. Even those from Eastern region who completed their nursing courses three years coming are still unemployed while their counterparts are employed and taking salary.

Genuinely, the NDC will never have even 30% of the votes in eastern region. They can only get their target dubiousness which they are planning towards.

We must stand up against Mahama and his NDC. They have nothing good to offer us.

The people of eastern region deserves better.
