Agona Swedru (C/R), Sept. 12, GNA - Mr Emmanuel Amamu Abekah, Communication Director for Mrs Pokuaah Sawyer, one of the Parliamentary Aspirants for the Agona East Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has said Mrs Sawyer would win the forthcoming primaries.

He said the delegates would definitely give the nod to Mrs Sawyer because of her dignity and visions for the Constituency. Speaking to the GNA, Mr Abekah said the delegates have noticed the good works of the candidate in the Agona East District.

He said the party had reached a point where it needed dedicated, selfless, hard work and generous candidate to lead the party in the coming elections and that 93it would be suicidal if the delegates allow themselves to be influenced with money, from other aspirants".

Mr Abekah said Mrs Sawyer is the only aspirant who has the antidote to the problems of Agona East and that no amount of propaganda made against her would succeed.

He said the campaign team has adopted some comprehensive strategies that would help them to defeat her opponents and called for cooperation and unity to promote peace in the party.

Mr Abekah also appealed to the campaign managers and supporters of the other aspirants to conduct a clean and honest campaign.
