MP inspect projects in constituency

Mr. Francis Adu Blay-Koffie, Member of Parliament (MP) for Prestea/Huni Valley has visited his constituency to acquaint himself with progress of work on some projects.

The MP inspected a six-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at Efuke which had reached 85 per cent completion.

He also inspected the progress of work on re-shaping of a seven-kilometer road which links Nana Wusukrom, Broni Nkwanta, Mame Baduwa and Nana Effakrom.

Other projects the MP inspected which had all reached the advanced stage include a community shed at Pewudia, a market at Dumasi and number one compound in Prestea and teacher’s quarters at Tarkwa Bremang.

Mr. Adu-Blay Koffie, expressed his appreciation to government and the citizens of Prestea Huni/Valley for the role they had played in developing the area.

According to him, good government initiatives and practical support offered by the various communities had made it possible for the constituency to benefit from a number of amenities.

He commended the entire citizenry in the district for their devotion and commitment, adding that it had contributed significantly to the constituency's development efforts.

Mr. Adu-Blay Koffie congratulated Sankofa Gold Limited and Golden Star Bogoso Prestea Limited for supporting the assembly in re-shaping some of the poor road networks in the district.

The MP called on contractors executing the various projects to speed up work to facilitate the on-going development projects being undertaken by government to improve upon the infrastructure and other aspects of economic development in the constituency.**
