The Informer has been vindicated once again, with regards to the Ashanti group in the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), who are praying for Akufo-Addo to lose the upcoming December 07 elections.
This they believe, will make it easier for Mr. John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen to become the flagbearer of the NPP, in 2016.
The Ashanti sect also believe that, if Akufo-Addo wins in 2012, he will want to contest again in 2016 at the age of seventy two (72). However, if he loses the impending election, he will not contest again.
One Kwabena Ansah, a member of the Alan Kyerematen 2016 campaign team, in an email, is soliciting the assistance of this paper, and all well-meaning Ghanaians, who are not in support of Akufo-Addo’s “all die be die” presidential ambition, to join their man (Alan Kyerematen), since he is the ideal choice.
According to the Alan Kyerematen 2016 Movement, Akufo-Addo cannot restore hope for party members, let alone the entire population of Ghana as he goes round promising.

In as much as The Informer cannot confirm whether the Alan 2016 Movement exists, this paper is not prepared to dismiss the information sent out by Kwabena Ansah, since the Ashanti group in the NPP has always kick against the candidature of Mr. Williams Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
It is also on record that, ex-President John Kufuor, has told a very close confidant of his, that “he will teach Akufo-Addo and his Akyem sect sense, before the election”, having been fooled by the Akyem group boys, to insult Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan and the Electoral Commission (EC) and also made to embark on warmongering spree, only for them to eat a humble pie.
As indicated above, whether the source of this information is bragging or telling the truth as regards the intention of the Ashanti group in the NPP, it is only a repetition of what happened in 2008, with the avowed position of the Ashanti clique who have always plan the defeat of Akufo-Addo since he wasn’t their preferred choice.
