KEEA lauds appointment of Nana Ato Arthur.

Cape Coast, May 29, GNA- The Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) district assembly and the chiefs and people of the area, have commended the President, Mr John Agyekum Kufuor, on the appointment of Nana Ato Arthur, who hails from the district, as the Central Regional Minister designate.

A release issued and signed by the district chief Executive, Mr George Frank Asmah, described Nana Arthur's appointment as an "excellent choice".

It said the "good work" of Nana Ato Arthur, a former chief executive of KEEA and deputy Central Regional Minister, had culminated in his appointment, to continue with the government's development agenda for the region.

The release, therefore urged Nana Arthur to remain focused and not be distracted by "enemies of development" to enable him to achieve his goals of uplifting the standard of living of people in the region. It pledged that the assembly would support him to enable him to chalk more successes for the region.
