Joe Ghartey thanks constituents for his re-election

Essikadu (W/R), Dec. 19, GNA - Mr Joe Ghartey, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament-elect, for the Essikadu-Ketan Constituency has expressed his appreciation to the people in the constituency for retaining him.

He said the trust imposed in him by the people should be used to facilitate the development of the area and assured that he cannot disappoint them.

Mr Ghartey said this during house to house visits on Thursday, to express his appreciation to the people for re-electing him to represent Essikadu-Ketan.

He urged them to go out in their numbers on December 28 and vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo to help bring development to the area and also continue the good works of President Kufuor and the NPP government. Mr Ghartey was accompanied by some party executives in the constituency, include Mr Samuel Allotey and Mr Jerry Johnson, both polling station Chairmen among others.

He advised them to come together as one people for development and not to discriminate against any party. He reminded them that Essikadu-Ketan was a new constituency that needed massive infrastructural development to reverse its poverty and under-development.
