I would use experience, expertise to transform Effutu

Winneba (C/R), Nov. 4, GNA - The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Effutu Constituency, Mr Samuel Owusu-Agyei on Wednesday said he would use his experience and expertise to transform the area when given the nod.

He said tourism and the salt industry would be among his priorities to create jobs for the people, especially the youth. Addressing the Muslim Community at Winneba, Mr Owusu-Agyei called for a peaceful election since the nation could not develop without peace.

He called on supporters of political parties to avoid abusive language and acts that could undermine the elections. Mr Owusu-Agyei appealed to the people to vote for President John Agyekum Kufuor and the NPP to continue with the good work of the Government.

Members of the community prayed for violence-free election and appealed to the electorate to respect the people's decision in the election.
