I want to help my people - Aspiring Assemblyman

An aspiring Assembly man of Afofu Abirem in the Eastern region, Isaac Gyamawu, has indicated his willingness to help his people.

In an interview with Today yesterday via telephone on why people in his community should vote for him, he said his community needed a lot of infrastructural facilities, adding “I have what it takes to make things happen.” According to him, the community needs a committed person to stand and help the town to function well.

“My area doesn’t have streetlights, potable water, good roads among others,” he averred.

The assembly man aspirant promised to build a taxi station to provide shades for both drivers and passengers in his community.

This promise, he said, was born out of the fact that passengers in the area had to be at the mercy of the scorching sun anytime they were looking for vehicle to their various destinations.

“I have good plans for my people, and will work hard to improve their lot,” Mr. Gyamawu assured.

However, he admitted that he could not do it alone and would need the support of his people.
