I stand by all my promises - Sammy Awuku

Sammy Awuku, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Youth Organizer elect, has reiterated that he will do well to fulfill his promise to the youth of the party by decentralizing the youth wing of the NPP.

According to him, “I stand by all the promises I made because the Regional Youth Organizer must be responsible and in-charge of the party in the Region, the Constituency Youth Organizer in-charge of the youth in Constituency”.

During his first interview with PEACEFM after his landslide victory, Sammy Awuku was of the view that an effectively decentralized activities of the youth section of the party would help bring everyone onboard in the quest to recapture power in 2016.

The newly elected National Youth Organizer, who was competing with six other candidates, polled 471 votes to emerge the winner while Pius Enam Hadzie had 115 votes. Richard Nyamah came in third with 19 votes, Michael Kwabena Ampong, Gifty Afia Oware and Charles Adu had 9, 7, and 6 votes respectively.
