Ho Municipal NDC endorse Kodobisah for MCE

Ho, April 14, GNA - The Executives of the Ho West and Ho Central constituencies of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have commended President John Evans Atta Mills for nominating Mr Isaac Kwasi Kodobisah as the Ho Municipal Chief Executive. In a joint press release, executives of the two constituencies which make up the Ho Municipal area and their Members of Parliament said by the nomination of Mr Kodobisah, the President has "ultimately satisfied the overwhelming desire of the generality of the two constituencies within the Municipality."

Mr Emmanuel Bedzrah, Member of Parliament for Ho-West, who read the release described Mr Kodobisah as a man whose competence, experience, loyalty and commitment to the Party were unequivocal and said members of the Party from both constituencies were ready to support him to perform his duties after his endorsement by the Assembly. He urged the President to ignore "all forms of unwarranted and mischievous attempts by some internal dissidents of the Party hiding under the cover of anonymity to throw dust into the eyes of the general public."

"By these acts, they sought to create the wrong impression that Party executives and members in the Ho Municipality are unhappy with the choice of Mr Kodobisah by His Excellency the President," Mr Bedzrah said.

He emphasized that the rank and file of the Party and the general public across the political divide were in a "jubilant mood" for the President having listened and fulfilled their desire by nominating Mr Kodobisah and was hopeful that members of the Assembly would vote overwhelmingly to endorse the nominee.
