The Central Regional Chairman of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Mr. Andrews Sefa, wants Ghanaians to vote for a candidate in the upcoming November 7 Presidential election who has impacted positively on the lives on the citizenry.

According to the PPP Chairman, Ghana today is constrained with job creation, a major issue which National Security has warned if not addressed, could plunged the country into chaos, and therefore would want a candidate who has the wherewithal in creating jobs to voted into power.

He argued that if any of the any candidates has not been able to employ people in his or her establishment, that person (candidate) has no business to appeal to Ghanaians for their mandate to the Flagstaff House.

Mr. Sefa made this observation at Assin Bereku during the acclamation of the PPP’s Parliamentary candidate for Assin North by a representative from the Electoral Commission over the weekend.

In the view of Sefa, there are only three candidates contesting for the November 7 Presidential election. The three he said are; President John Dramani Mahama, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom who is hailed by many as ‘Adwuma Wura’.

According to him, Dr. Nduom stands tall among the three in terms of job creation and therefore would want Ghanaians in a direction that would have a positive impact on their standard of living.

“Elections are not a joke, you get what you vote for so if you vote for a person who can do the work well, you’ll benefit”, he argued.

Commenting on the Parliamentary elections, the chairman hinted that the party seeks to win at least five seats in the region.
