Evalue-Gwira NDC launches campaign

Ahead of Election 2012

The NDC in the Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency will on Saturday 13th, October, 2012 launch its campaign in a bid to compete for the parliamentary seat ahead of the December polls at the Victoria Park in Axim in the Western Region.
The occasion will also be used to outdoor the party’s Parliamentary hopeful, Kweku Tanikye Kesseh, as well as give a vivid account of the successes chalked by the NDC Government during its three year stewardship.
The constituents would also be informed of what would be on offer for them if the aspirant is elected to power.
In an interview with the party’s Constituency Secretary, Mr. Anthony Atsu Demor, he expressed the optimism that the party was poised to win the parliamentary seat since the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the area Madam Catherine Ablema Afeku had lost touch with electorates in the area.
He reckoned that the NDC since assuming power in 2009 has performed well in a spheres-cutting across education, health as well as infrastructural development.
“The NDC has been up to task as far as the Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency is concerned and come December 7, victory will surely be our’s,” he assured.
Mr. Atsu Demor further added that aside the official campaign launch, the party would also use the occasion to raise funds to support its campaign activities as well as launch the Mienzah Fun Club.
The Mienzah Fun Club, he underscored is aimed at keeping the good works and dreams of the late Mac Ackah Blay alive.
He called on all dye-hard supporters of the NDC to unite to enable them win massively in both the Parliamentary and the Presidential polls...“the good works of party speaks for itself.”
A member of the party’s communication team in the area, Kwame Tsibuah, gave the indication that the NDC was alive and will win in both the Presidential and Parliamentary Polls notwithstanding the numerous ‘noise’ being made by the NPP in the area.
He reiterated the NDC’s commitment to serve the good people of Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency by ensuring that their living standards are raised to an enviable level.
The NDC after winning the seat in 2000 later lost it to James Kojo Armah of the CPP in 2004, before Madam Afeku took over the seat in the last general elections.
