Don't be swayed by empty promises

Coaltar (E/R), Oct 27, GNA - Mr Samuel Ayeh Paye New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Ayensuano Constituency has urged party supporters not to be swayed by empty promises of his opponents. He said they should rather remain resolute and vote massively for the NPP for better living conditions. Mr Ayeh Paye gave the exhortation when he addressed his supporters after a four-hour keep-fit walk from Ayibontey through Otoase to Krabokese and Marfukrom all in the Suhum-Kraboa-Coaltar District of the Eastern Region.

He called on other political opponents to desist from using insulting words and vain promises. Mr Ayeh Paye urged the people to remain loyal to the government. He said when voted into power he would use his share of the common fund to offer scholarships to poor but needy students in his constituency.

Furthermore, he said, he would ensure that the 38-kilometre road from Adoagyiri to Owuram through Coaltar was tarred to enable farmers cart their produce to marketing centres.
