Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency grateful to Mahama

The Daffiama-Bussie-Issah Constituency Executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper West Region, has expressed their gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for appointing Mr Abu Kabiebata Kansangabata as the Deputy Upper West Regional Minister.

A statement issued on Friday signed by Alhaji Lebeeh Fred Ahmed and Mr Fidelis Zumakpeh, Constituency Chairman and Secretary respectively, said the people were highly honoured by the upgrading of the constituency into a district status and the nomination of Mr Kansangabata as the Deputy Regional Minister.

The statement said Mr Kasangabata, as a former deputy constituency youth organiser and a member of the NDC Communication Team in the region and District Chief Executive for Nadowli had proved his worth in the party.

“His development acumen cannot be gainsaid and our in-coming Regional Minister, Dr Avea Nsor, will find in his deputy a trusted colleague he can rely on to realize the President’s vision for the region,” the statement said.

It said the constituency had kept faith with the NDC since 1992 and in the last general elections the sacrifice of Mr Kansangabata towards the victory chalked by the NDC in the region could not be quantified.

The executives also congratulated Mr Kasangabata on his appointment.
