Counting of votes underway in Kumasi

Kumasi, Dec. 7, GNA - Counting of votes is underway after, what has been hailed as a generally peaceful poll in the Kumasi Metropolis. Huge crowds had gathered at the various polling stations waiting anxiously to listen to the votes received by their parties.

At the Adum TB Royal Palm polling station in the Subin constituency, NPP had 447, NDC 171, CPP 5, PNC 2, DFP 1, while RPD and the Independent candidate had 0 each in the presidential elections. In the parliamentary elections, NPP had 452, NDC 160, CPP 7, and PNC 3.

At the GNTC polling station also at the Subin constituency, NPP had 368, NDC 103, CPP 6 and PNC 1 in the presidential elections. At the Railway police station polling station also in Subin, NPP had 778, NDC 279, CPP 9 and PNC 1 in the presidential elections.

At the Fire station polling station at Offinso South constituency, NPP had 269, NDC 65, PNC 1 and CPP 1 in the presidential elections. At the parliamentary elections, NPP had 255, NDC 70, RPD 3, CPP 0 and PNC 0. At the New Edubiase secondary school booth one polling station in the New Edubiase constituency, NPP had 291, PNC 0, NDC 98, DFP 0, DPP 0, CPP 0, RPD 0, Independent 1 in the presidential elections. In the parliamentary, NPP had 303, PNC 0, NDC 87, CPP 4.

At the Asokore Rural bank polling station in the Efiduase-Asokore constituency, NPP had 456, PNC 4, NDC 24, DPP 0, DFP 0, CPP 0, RPD 0, independent 0 in the presidential elections whilst in the parliamentary elections NPP had 455, PNC 2, NDC 37 and CPP 2.

At Nyinahin R/C primary school, NPP had 481, NDC 75, CPP 4, DPP 0, PNC 1, RPD 1, Independent 3 and DFP 0. In the parliamentary elections, NPP had 273, NDC 44, CPP 2, PNC 2, DPP 3 and Independent 262.

At the Abakobon TB polling station in the Asante Akim South constituency, NPP had 69, PNC 1, NDC 100, DFP 2, DPP 1, RPD 0, CPP 0, and Independent 0 in the presidential elections. In the parliamentary elections, NPP had 67, NDC 110, and CPP 0 whilst at the Menamenaso TB polling station NPP had 54, NDC 84, CPP 2, PNC 1, DFP 3, RPD 0, DPP 0 and Independent 0 in the presidential elections.

In the parliamentary elections, NPP had 71, NDC 74 and CPP 0. At Kumeso Presby primary B polling station, NPP had 374 in the presidential elections with PNC having 2, NDC 139, CPP 0, DPP 0, RPD 0, DFP 0 and Independent 0 whilst in the parliamentary elections, NPP had 390, NDC 140 and CPP 1.

At the Kumeso Presby primary A, NPP garnered 391 votes in the presidential elections, NDC 171, PNC 2, CPP 1, DPP 0, RPD 0, DFP 0 and Independent 0, whilst in the parliamentary elections NPP had 390, PNC 0, and NDC 146.

At the Saint Monica's Senior Secondary School polling station in the Asante Mampong constituency, NPP had 330, NDC 67, PNC 2, DFP 0, DPP 1, CPP 5, RPD 0 and Independent 1 in the presidential elections whilst the NPP had 339, NDC 65 and CPP 1 in the parliamentary elections.

At the Ejisu R/C primary 2 polling station in the Ejisu-Juaben constituency, NPP had 361 in the presidential elections while PNC had 2, NDC 69, CPP 6, RPD 0, DPP 0, DFP 0 and Independent 0. In the parliamentary elections, NPP had 369, PNC 6, NDC 61 and CPP 6.

At the Kokobra primary school polling station also in the Ejisu-Juaben constituency, NPP had 510, PNC 3, NDC 192, CPP 16, DFP 2, RPD 0, DPP 0 and Independent 1 in the presidential elections whilst the NPP had 515, PNC 12, NDC 176 and CPP 19 in the parliamentary elections. At the Kwamo Polling station one, in the Ejisu-Juaben constituency, NPP had 583, PNC 3, NDC 180, CPP 11, DFP 1, RPD 0, DPP 0 and Independent in the presidential elections. In the parliamentary elections, NPP had 593, PNC 4, NDC 171 and CPP 12.

At the Kwamo polling station two in the same constituency, NPP had 701, PNC 4, NDC 214, CPP 5, RPD 0, DPP 0, DFP 0 and Independent 0. In the parliamentary elections, NPP had 721, PNC 4, NDC 195 and CPP 8. At the Asotwe JSS polling station NPP had 352, PNC 0, NDC 29, CPP 1, RPD 0, DPP 0, DFP 0 and Independent 0. In the parliamentary, NPP had 343, PNC 3, NDC 20 and CPP 4. At Akyawkrom, also in the Ejisu-Juaben constituency, NPP had 536, PNC 1, NDC 40 CPP 0, RPD 0, DFP 0, DPP 0 and Independent 0. In the parliamentary elections, NPP had 542, PNC 0, NDC 31 and CPP 8. At the Nyimampae polling station in the Asante Mampong constituency, NPP had 161, PNC 0, NDC 6, DFP 0, DPP 0, CPP 2, RPD 0 and Independent 0. In the parliamentary elections, NPP had 261, NDC 3, and CPP 1.

At the Nkwanta R/C primary school also in the Asante Mampong constituency, NPP had 281, PNC 0, NDC 210, DFP 0, DPP 1, CPP 5, RPD 0, Independent 0 in the presidential elections. In the parliamentary elections, NPP had 289, NDC 203 and CPP 2. At the Nyimampae Methodist primary polling station also at Mampong constituency, NPP 212, PNC 0, NDC 5, DFP 0, DPP 0, CPP 2, RPD 0 and Independent 0 in the presidential elections while NPP had 219, NDC 0, and CPP 0 in the parliamentary elections.
