Council of Elders congratulate NPP National Executive

Techiman, Jan 18, GNA - The Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party in the Techiman Municipality has sent a message of congratulations to the new national Chairman, Mr. Peter Mac Manu and other executives of the party.

In a statement the Patron and Council of Elders issued on behalf of the membership, supporters and sympathizers of the party in Techiman, the council noted that the smooth election of Mr Manu was not only a manifestation of internal democracy in the party but also indicated the confidence Ghanaians had in the NPP government.

The statement expressed gratitude to President John Agyekum Kufuor for ensuring peace and unity in the country and in other countries like Liberia, Sierra Leone and Cote D'Ivoire.

The council called on NPP activists to shed all negative attitudes that could divide their ranks and work to ensure the party and the government met the aspirations of the people.
