Foreign-Based Stars Fail To Show Up

Three of Ghana's foreign-based stars have failed join up with their team-mates ahead of the vital World Cup Qualifier against Nigeria.

The three, Charles Amoah of Sturm Graz, Emmanuel Duah of Uniaro Leira in Portugal, and Mohammed Gargo of Udinese, were expected to arrive in the country on Monday but failed to show up.

This has seriously hindered coach Osam Duodo's plans, and he will have to wait until Thursday, when the player's are expected to arrive, before finalising his team.

The Black Stars are already without Parma's Stephen Appiah, who has a damaged knee, and Issah Mohammed, who is on trail at Spartak Moscow. Meanwhile, Duodu has reiterated that his team with go all out in attack when they play the Nigerian's.

The team will leave Accra for Port Harcourt in Nigeria on Saturday.
