President Kufuor off to Japan, China

PRESIDENT J.A. Kufuor on Friday night left Accra for a two-nation visit to Japan and China.

The President, who went through London, was accompanied by his wife, Theresa, Senior Minister, J.H. Mensah, Foreign Minister Owusu-Agyeman, Ambassador D.K. Osei, Secretary to the President and Mr Kwabena Agyapong, Deputy Government Spokesman.

They were seen off by the Vice-President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, officials from British High Commission, Chinese Embassy, Japanese Embassy and Ministers of State.

He will be away for two weeks.
