Canada/ US FOBA Donate Two Cars

Space FM, Nsoatre - The Canada and US Branches of the Friends of Baffour Awuah,(FOBA), have donated two new pickup vehicles to the campaign team of Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah, the Brong-Ahafo regional minister and an NPP apiring parliamentary candidate for the Sunyani West Constiutency.

Mr Alex Gyan of FOBA-Canada announced the donation during the official launch of the Baffour Campaign for the Sunyani West Seat at Nsoatre.

Mr Gyan said recently when Hon. Baffour Awuah visited Brong-Ahafo citizens in the US and Canada, he declared his intention ofcontesting for the seat since veteran legislator, Hon Kwadwo Adjei Darko has announced his retirement from parliamentary service.

"Bearing in mind the task involved in political campaign, the union decided to assist the minister with the vehicles', Mr Gyan said.

He said Hon. Baffour Awuah touched the hearts of the entire Ghanaian community with his presentation on the region.

"After his presentation many including foreign nationals and companies expressed interest in coming down to Ghana to explore the possibility of investing in the region", he said.

"Soon, the Brong-Ahafo region would see many investors and that would bring prosperity', he added.

Mr Gyan therefore called on the delegates for the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries to endorse Hon. Baffour Awuah as the party's parliamentary candidate for the Sunyani constituency.

He also urged the entire constituency to vote massively for Hon. Baffour Awuah in the December elections.

"Hon. Baffour Awuah has been District Chief Executive ,Municipal Chief Executive, Deputy regional minister and now regional minister. President Kufour appointed him to all those positions and it is now time for you to elect him to represent you in parliament", he told the cheering crowd.

Mr Gyan said the sterling performance of Hon Baffour Awuah over the past right years is ample evidence of his ability to even deliver better as an MP.
