CPP slams media for shunning 'bright' Abu Sakara

The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has taken a swipe at the media over its reportage on the fallout of Tuesday’s IEA Presidential Debate.

According to a leading member of the CPP, Kwame Jantuah Dr. Abu Sakara Foster who was highly rated was not given much prominence by the media.

Dr. Sakara was among the four presidential candidates, John Mahama for the NDC, Nana Akufo-Addo for the NPP and Mr. Hassan Ayariga for the PNC who took part in the debate.

Mr Kwame Jantuah XYZ NEWS the media was not objective enough with their reportage stating “it is the media which is pushing the two party agenda in this country.”

“Nana Addo and John Mahama, they performed but they did not perform to the standard of Dr. Abu Sakara. We thought that the papers will be objective and portray all three and put the issues down.”

He said there is every indication that Dr. Sakara will still be the best at the second IEA Debate and stressed that they will be looking to see if the media will change their focus.
