COZONGO congratulates Mahama

Kumasi, April 21, GNA- The Ashanti regional branch of the Coordinating Committee of Zongos (COZONGO), a wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has congratulated Mr John Dramani Mahama, Member of Parliament (MP) for Bole-Bamboi, for being chosen as the running mate of Professor John Evans Atta-Mills, flag bearer of the party.

The group said the choice of Mr Mahama was the best thing to have happened to the NDC in view of his rich political background, experience and expertise.

This was contained in a statement signed by Mr Mohammed Moro, the Coordinator of the group, and issued in Kumasi on Monday. It implored well meaning supporters of the party to support Mr Mahama to ensure total victory for the NDC in the 2008 Election.
