C/R NDC confident in gov't’s ability to solve temporary setbacks

The Central Regional Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed confidence in the Government‘s ability to solve temporary setbacks in the country and put the economy on a better footing.

This was contained in a press release signed by Mr. Adu Yeboah, the Regional Chairman of NDC and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Thursday, after a Regional Executive Committee meeting in Cape Coast.

The regional NDC meeting aims to renew the branch’s faith and confidence in the leadership of the nation especially President John Mahama.

It also registered its confidence in the ability of the managers of Ghana’s economy led by Vice President Amissah–Arthur and the Finance Minister, Mr. Seth Terkpeh, and assured them of their unflinching support in their quest to make the economy better.

It also commended Government’s efforts in ensuring that developmental projects were on-going all over the country, in spite of the current difficulties.

It expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for standing together with the Government in its quest towards achieving a better Ghana for all, despite various differences and appealed to Ghanaians to bear with Government in these difficult times of the country’s history.
