Alhaji Osman Masawudu, popularly known as Chairman Buga Buga and an aspiring 1st Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has issued a stern warning to social commentator Ralph DeFollow against using his image or videos in what he considers mockery on social media.
In an interview on Neat FM, Chairman Buga Buga said videos of the social commentator had been sent to him, claiming that Ralph was indirectly mocking him while pretending to campaign for him in his bid for the NPP’s 1st Vice Chairman position.
He warned Ralph DeFollow to be very careful with him and cautioned him against using his pictures or videos to make mockery of him online, insisting that the social commentator was not campaigning for him.
“The NDC guy with the Rasta, Ralph, they sent me his video. He was pretending as though he was campaigning for me, but he was actually trying to mock me. He should be very careful. Ralph should be very careful about using my video as though he is campaigning for me.

“He is not an NPP person. I am warning him to stay away from my videos and stop that kind of ridiculous propaganda. He is not campaigning for me and he should not campaign for me,” he said.
According to Chairman Buga Buga, he believes the social commentator aligns with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He argued that when someone affiliated with the NDC campaigns for an NPP candidate, it could be an indication that the opposing side is worried about that candidate and may be indirectly seeking to influence NPP delegates to vote against them.
The aspiring 1st Vice Chairman of the NPP explained that this was the reason he was warning Ralph DeFollow not to campaign for him.
“If you see someone affiliated with the NDC campaigning for someone in the NPP, it means they are scared of that person and are praying for the person to lose. Indirectly, they want the person to be voted against. When that happens, NPP delegates will see that it is an NDC person campaigning for you and they may end up voting against you. That is why I am warning him that he should not campaign for me,” he stated.
Chairman Buga Buga further questioned what influence Ralph DeFollow could have among NPP delegates, given that, according to him, the social commentator is not a member of the party.
“That Ralph guy is not an NPP member, so who can he convince to go and vote for me? If he knew how the NPP youth have ‘mean’ him, he wouldn’t be there saying such nonsense,” he added.
