Bala Maikankan: Hassan Ayariga Performed Creditably

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the Peoples National Convention, Bala Maikankan has given thumbs up for the under fire Presidential Candidate after what political connoisseurs described as abyssimal performance at the just ended institute of Economic Affairs presidential debate.
Speaking to this reporter, the PNC Greater Accra Chair indicated that whereas the other two Presidential aspirants in the person of Dr ABu Sakara and Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo focused on attacking the NDC presidential candidate and for that matter the government to score point, Assan Ayariga stuck to the programs of the party.
According to him, the views shared by various person that Hassan Ayariga was the flop of the debate lacks grounds and that the greater majority of discerning Ghanaians bought into the PNC vision for the country.
“He said that in all areas of our development, Hassan Ayariga stated the party’s policy and vision and that was exactly what the party expected him to do.”
He further noted that the various criticisms are just targeted at get him ungrounded after gathering so much momentum in the just ended debate.
He called on the PNC not to pay heed to the noises being made on radio on the debate as it is the scheme of the other political parties to discourage voters from voting for Hassan Ayariga who is by far the youngest and appeals more to the younger generation than the other candidates.
“The youth have endorsed Hassan and no amount of criticism can change that” We are building on the momentum gathered and Isha Alahu, come 7th December 2012, PNC would retake its rightful place in Ghana politics.”
“The way to move this nation forward is not to dedicate time criticizing but focus on practicable ideas that would transform the lives of Ghanaians and that is exactly what Hassan Ayariga did at the debate”
He said that contrary to claims that the PNC Candidate failed to inspire, he was actually the one that stuck to the issue and deserve commendation other than rebuke for his performance.
