Alan posters are fake-Obuasi East MP

One of Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng’s close allies, Hon. Edward Annim has asked NPP supporters and sympathizers to ignore the posters that are in circulation portraying Alan Kyeremanteng’s 2016 Presidential bid.

The Obuasi East MP has rather accused the NDC of being behind such a ploy to cause disaffection for Alan Kyeremanteng.

He told Citi News Mr. Alan Kyeremanteng was unaware of such development and warned his detractors to desist from such.

Some campaign posters purported to be that of Mr. Alan Kyeremanteng for 2016 popped up in various parts of the country including Kumasi, Ho, Cape Coast, Tamale and Sunyani.

This has drawn criticisms from angry NPP supporters who in turn have caused the removal of such posters.

But the Obuasi East MP has denied Alan’s involvement in the saga saying, “Yesterday I was in my constituency Obuasi and decided to travel to Kumasi and when I got to Asawase I saw Alan Kyeremanteng posters around and the pictures that they used were the pictures that he used when he was contesting Nana Akuffo Addo in the primary, way back seven years ago.”

He implied, “I called the regional NPP Chairman, FF Anto to find out what was going on and he told me his information was that some NDC guys were doing that, I called Alan himself and he said doesn’t even know about it and as I was speaking to him he was preparing towards a presentation for the WTO position he is contesting; he told me that some of us should come out and let the NPP people and Ghanaians know that he doesn’t know anything about it.”

Hon. Edward Annim reiterated the Alan camps support to Nana Akuffo and co who ate contesting the 2012 Presidential election result in court.

“NDC people are doing this thing to create confusion in the NPP, they know that we are in court and they want to do this to cause confusion for us so that we will lose focus; I am telling Ghanaians that after election there is one leader and Nana Akuffo Addo is our leader and we are solidly behind him in court.”

He cautioned radio stations perceived to be loyal to the NDC against attempts to start playing old jingles of Mr. Alan Kyeremanteng to justify the ill conceived motives of their paymasters.

“We got information that they want to use that music played by Sidney when Alan Kyeremanteng contested Nana Akuffo during the primary and I dare any Fm station who plays this music will be dragged to court.”
