Akufo-Addo tours Ayensuano Constituency

Otoase (E/R), Aug. 23, GNA - Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo, New Patrio= tic Party (NPP) Flag-bearer for the 2012 presidential election, has reiterated his promise to Ghanaians of making Junior and Senior High School education free when voted into power.

Nana Akufo-Addo gave the assurance at Otoase in the Ayensuano Constituency of Suhum-Kraboa-Coaltar District of the Eastern Region when he visited communities including Aryee-Bonte, Kraboakese, Marfokrom, Akotuakrom, Mamakrom and Abeisekrom as part of his Eastern Regional tour. He said there was disenchantment among Ghanaians due to the increase i= n electricity and water tariffs that had created problems among landlords and tenants, lack of job opportunities for the youth and poor road networks to market centres.

Nana Akufo-Addo said after implementing his fee-free policy, he would tackle job creation for the youth to curtail their migration to the cities to engage in menial jobs which eventually led some of them to become armed robbers. Mr Samuel Ayeh Paye, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayensuano, appealed to the people to vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo in the 2012 presidentia= l election to enable him to solve the problems they faced due to the administration of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Government. Other NPP officials that accompanied the Flag-bearer included Mr Magnu= s Opare Asamoahm, former Deputy Minister of Roads and Transport and Mr Osei Bonsu Amoah, MP for Aburi-Nsawam.
