He said the court issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Nana Antepim and Linda after investigations by the police proved that they played an active role in the murdering of the deceased, adding that requests to the elders of the traditional council to produce the two suspects were in vain. Inspector Tawiah said the deceased on February 14, this year reported a case of assault and damage to his property by Tabiri and three other persons, including two women, at the Regional Police Headquarters. Insp Tawiah said Karim was escorted to the District Police Station to give his statement in connection with the allegations made against him. He said the deceased was released on bail, as instructed by the Regional Crime Officer and was warned not to go to Odumase until tempers had cooled down the deceased went to the town at about 14 hours to pack his belongings. Tabiri, Yeboah and Lambert who were dissatisfied because Karim was granted bail organized a mob made up of the youth and they armed themselves with stones and missiles and attacked the deceased and his family. The PRO said the mob caused damage to the properties of Karim and his family as well as a building belonging to one Kwaku Boamah Stephen.
