  Here’s another who does not know about the facts of the 1956 plebiscite.
  
  1. It was not about Ewes. It was about Trans-Volta Togoland which stretched from Ho to the border with Upper Volta. It affected only the Ewes in the area. It didn’t affect the Ewes who were already in the Gold Coast.
  
  2. It was not about whether anybody would join Ghana. There was no Ghana then. It was about whether TVT would join the Gold Coast before it became independent. Independence was still about one year away.
