In fact it will be a colossal mistake to ignore the role of government failures in what happen, if we have any real desire to ensure that this does not repeat itself. In a country where justice moves at the speed of snail, judges take bribe, police services poorly trained and resourced, government of the day and the main opposition both have formed, trained and armed vigilantes who are free to go on rampage, indulge in impunity, because their political master ensure that they don't get punished. The dynamics are much broader, any solutions must be all encompassing.

It is one thing to conceptualize circumstances to solve problems, and another to play with words. Most intelligent people conceptualize to solve problems so that one can recognize the behaviour on the onset and find a solution to it. But here you are playing with words.
Mob justice is the same as 'brute justice'; it is animal behaviour ipso facto. That is what the hyenas do in Serengeti game park. Hyenas in Serengeti game park do not act by reason, they act on brute instinct. Those who kill suspected thieves this way are more than untamed animals and beasts living among us.

KWABENA YEBOAH, BENGJBWAS NOT PLAYING WITH WORDS, I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT SO MYSELF MAYBE, BUT THANKS TO MY COMPLETION OF STUDY IN PSYCHOLOGY ALONG WITH AN EXAMS, IF IT HAD BEEN EARLIER I WOULD HAVE MAKE A SEARCH ON THIS TOPIC ON "MOB JUSTICE" USING THE RESEARCH AND STUDIES HE USED AS HIS REFERENCES. KWABENA THIS ARTICLE IS AN OBSERVATION ON "THE PSYCHOLOGY OF MOB JUSTICE. ONE THING AS AFRICANS IS WE THINK STUDIES ON HUMAN BEHAVIOUR PATTERNS IN ALL AREAS OF OUR HUMAN ACTIVITIES IS NOT IMPORTANT. EXAMPLE, TO MAKE A GOOD MARRIAGE YOU MUST NOTE THAT THE HUSBAND AND WIFE ARE FROM DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENT WITH DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES, IF SPOUSES CAN STUDY THE BEHAVIOUR PATTERNS OF EACH OTHER WHEN HAPPY, SAD, ANGERY AND IN OTHER MOODS, THEY CAN LIVE BETTER WITH THEMSELVES. INSTEAD OF FORCING CHANGES IN OTHER. THE STUDY OF HUMAN BEHAVIOUR PATTERNS IS VERY IMPORTANT, ADVERTISERS USED IT ALOT TO GET US BUY EVEN THINGS WE DON'T WANT. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THE COURTS AND THE POLICE ARE THE CAUSE OF MOB JUSTICE, YOU HAVE TO BE WORKING ROUND THE COURT EVERY TO APPRECIATE THE WORK PROSECUTORS ARE DOING TO COMMIT THIEVES TO JAIL WITH"SOLID TIGHT EVIDENCE" NOT HEARSAY. MOST TIMES WHEN THIEVES ARE CAUGHT AND SENT TO THE POLICE WITNESSES DON'T WANT TO HELP THE POLICE TO PROSECUTE, THEY EXPECT THE POLICE TO PERFORM MAGIC WITH GATHERING EVIDENCE, WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW IS THAT THE PROSECUTOR CAN BE PUT INTO THE BOX BY THE DEFENCE LAWYER AND THE EVIDENCE GATHERED CAN BE RENDERED USELESS, THE PROSECUTOR NEEDS THE VICTIM TO HELP HIM OR HER AND POSSIBLY GIVE EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT THE PROSECUTOR'S STORY.
