The fact is John Dumelo failed to read the terrain in which he is operating. John is on record for having castigated Nana Addo as not being a presidential material. Whether that is his personal opinion or not is besides the point. A person in the infancy of becoming a politician must first learn the basics and study the environment before you taking on powerful individuals. First lesson he must learn is that in Ghana people take their political affiliation personal, as a result any public statement you make must be measured carefully along with the choice of words, your personal popularity in the movie industry notwithstanding.

When you do that your credibility is questioned and you open yourself to attack. People also will watch out for what you are benefitting from your political affiliations. All of that is legitimate to be questioned especially if it is at the expense if tax payers like the Brazil debacle and the two V8 cars one of which was being altered at a workshop. In life you can't eat your cake and still preserve it. And please John Dumelo has not given us evidence to call him a self sufficient business man otherwise why does he need a state sponsored V8. And allegedly owe an ex - girlfriend for so long that it was only after public threats and his foray into partisan politics the he could repay the debt.
