Ghanaians derive their moral stance, by tradition, through the moral standards of the ruling majority party, it's just that simple.
Our history cannot be a lie neither can it be rewritten by those who have tried to rewrite Ghana's history through the preferred tribal and political party narrative. Each time there has been acts of terror on the world stage, hypocrites from the NDC and NPP leadership ranks send out spokespersons with statements of condolences and claims of standing with affected governments to buy party browny points. Do those folks forget, or simply ignorant to the realities that affected governments also enact even more stringent policies to keep their citizens safe against acts of terrorism? Yet those same morons here in Ghana are the very people, especially the NPP folks of the Kyebi order who are oblivious to their hateful folly for Nkrumah because of CPP era preventive act while praising modern day damning preventive acts of even more industrialized and civilized nations.
Since 1966 Ghanaians have acquired a more dangerous hypocritical approach to Civics and it does not help that we have not had but military and civilian political party government administrations even more so delusional, tribal, hypocritical and morally bankrupt than the rest of society if that is even possible. Since 1966 Ghanaians have pretended to hate official acts of bribery, corruption and presumed malpractices but only if by those of other tribes and or political parties. Adopting this silliness that was ushered in by the Dumbo/matemeho/UP traditions of the Danquah/Busia ideology made it easy to not trust civil institutions except those manned or staffed by ones own tribal and party operatives. Since 1966 Ashanti's and the Kyebi folks feel at home with government administrators of their kind, people of the North, Upper East and Upper West express hatred towards each other based on NPP or NDC affiliations and NDC regions at home with their own. And in each of those preferred administrations are practices that has devalued Ghanaian life, made uncivilized acts acceptable to party factions and stealing more so a basis for pride in the NDC or NPP. These facts are evidenced by the continued acts of barbarism and mismanagement? that does not go away but morph into dangerous territory the more the NPP and or the NDC perfects their lies, thievery, animus and disrespect for human life except for the spoils that come with political power.
It is rather ironic, isn't it that the NPP party that brought foreign mercenaries to train their own presumed security forces, the invincible and Delta forces, the Kennedy Agyapong drumbeat for lawlessness and all-die-be-die president of Ghana pretend to be shocked by the killing of Capt Mahama?Yet today the NPP leadership and supporters continue to administer Justice and public administration policies from NPP playbook is that not the case? So even while President Akufo-Addo offer his rather regrettable condolences to affected families his AG , Gloria Akufo, remains inept, the courts remain paralyzed, the national police and security agencies are placed in their respective barracks while NPP's own Delta and Invincible forces along with NPP ignorant activists groups extract maximum benefits from government jobs and taxes at life's expense to others not carved out of the NPP mold. We are who we've became at the aftermath of the 1966 coup thanks to the NPP ideals of my way or the highway.

David Ampofo, you have said it all. The truth as it is, after the revolution had we see a change in the country? The country has become worse, every thing at its highest degree, corruption, wickedness, calousness, lawlessness indiscipline , arm robbery , shedding of innocent blood. How an an arm robber stop and buy snail at day light, and tell you he will come back to take it? His killing had been planned earlier, is premeditated murder. What about he he was explaining that I am a military man? Even children as youn ad 12 and their mothers were looking on with glee and pleasure whiles an innocent man was being killed, the blood of capt Mahama will be on the heads of this village for generations.

It will take me a long time to get over this barbaric act. What kind of humans are these? Truly, what kind of humans are these? I came to a conclusion many, many years ago that Ghanaians are deeply EVIL. Every aspect of our behaviour is EVIL, full stop. Personally, I have done a great deal of good to people whom later I discovered deeply heated me. Yes, they harboured hatred for me even WHEN I was showing a lot of kindness and affection to them. GHANAIANS?

Am still crying inside me after watching the way and manner the capt was murdered, i don't have a word for it, the people of denkyira are inhuman never in my life will i forget the images, the horror and emotions i felt, even animal show love to one another, the town should be incarcerated and the place turn into a barracks with a huge monument of Adam Mahama built to honor his memories he died a painful death. if were killing our own,who are we,no law is working, we create our won laws, murderers, evil, satanic behaviors, when it happens to someone close to you its heart breaking, the video should be played for the perpetrators to see that their Lucifer incarnate. for me democracy is not working for Ghana we should go back to military rule. were in political, democracy, moral, ethnic, constitutional, law breakdown our future children will suffer.

As terrible and inhuman as this case is, you guys and Ghanaians in general are being hypocrites. Mob action happens all over the country some resulting in death. Remember what happened even at Legon/Akuafo Hall some couple of years back? Tell me, from 1979 to present if you have never heard of a similar case like this? May be this will be a wake-up call. May Capt. Mahama's soul rest in peace!
Go to Makola, Legon, KNUST, Kejetia (Kumasi) to name a few now and shout on somebody 'awi oo' and see what happens. I unfortunately rest my case.
