Will there be a campaign to stop lynching in Ghana or are we just angry because a man from a prominent family has been lynched.

However, one would hope that Captain Mahama's brutal lynching will serve as a catalyst that will bring about an end to lynching, which is nothing but vigilante justice. No one should take the laws into their hands and mete out justice. Anyone can be lynched at any time, because all it takes is for someone to raise an alarm, bringing out blood-thirsty people to engage in this barbaric act.

Mind you any political or ethnic conflict would be very devastating so those of you attacking innocent figures or ethnic group for the wrong doing of a few are unwise.

Strangely NPP will not accept being criticized in anyway. Nana is clueless in dealing with the myriad of problems facing the country including this barbaric incident and he must be blamed for this misfortune.That is the unfortunate truth and you can take it or leave it.

Ghana needs to find permanent solution to armed robbery and all these nonsense will stop. Peace will then prevail. It is not hard to do. The defense and interior ministers should be on top of their games or be sacked!!!

During the day, you go to the barracks and the soldiers are there boozing with no work to do. In other countries they are used to develop the cities and towns when there is no war. Just Egypt here, it is the soldiers who are used to manufacture pavement tiles and subsequently use them for their purpose. People don't walk in mud when it rains. What are our soldiers doing when we've never been to war? They are regarded as best dressed/neat soldiers in the world. Send them out in the streets to beef up security to compliment the police.

That iis why I'm suggesting that instead of them doing nothing at the barracks, they must be deployed to beef up security in the country. Their presence in public is enough to ward off criminal activities instead of remaining put in barracks.
