I'm sure the Interior Minister would have made a better statement than Ursula because of security implications.
What's the sense of using just one year to implement such a project?It's never done anywhere in the world.
When it comes to ID CARDS,it should be on perminent basis and also be associated with the Ministry of Internal Affairs to scrutinise documents properly.You can't create an isolated office somewhere and start issuing National ID Cards to people.
There are also features that have to appear on the the card,like date of birth and place of birth.Residence address,date of issue and date of expiration like a passport.With such features;it will be easy to trace individuals within shortest period and differentiate strangers in every area.That's how it works.Thank you.
