I will like to give the soldiers the benifit of the doubt and await their official statements before drawing any conclusions.The journalist's story sounds too incomplete to me to accept it as face value.First of all,is he a registered journalist or a regular citizen with a mobile phone camera?Was the place he was recording open to public?It could be that he was found video taping at security sensitive area and refused instructions to leave.He could also be telling the truth which can be confirmed once the data of the destroyed cell phone is recovered.If the Soldiers are found to have assualted the man without cause,the Millitary Police will deal very harshly with them.On the other hand if the journalist is found to have fabricated the story then he must also be charged.
