    If the western region and Volta region are divided, there will be 12 regions in Ghana, not 14, as the writer has mistakenly stated.

    Partitioning the volta region is irrelevant. There was a re-demarcation before and portions of the volta region was moved to other region like Akosombo (the dam) and it has made the esthern region bigger
