It is surprising that a seasoned politician like nana, who at this time doesn't need to bow to political expediency, could come up with this idea of free shs. There are numerous instances where bright students don't get higher education because of poverty, but a wholesale free shs won't be the solution. When you invariable eliminate parental responsibility as in this case, a big social issue of cohesion among others looms. Assuming one district one factory succeeds and more parents can afford to look after their children and experience the joy of doing so, can we not identify the rest of poor kids and help them?

Nana Addo deserves our respect and commendation for being bold enough to implement this policy. When I look back, I realize Ghanaians made a grave mistake in 2012 by electing Mahama because he was not prepared for the high office.

Borrowing money to build interchanges while the cities flood and education is in a mess is a joke and President Nana Addo has done extremely well in ensuring that to the level of free SHSS IS FREE. Your attempt to describe this sound national policy as wholesale is extremely insulting and the former President you support got his education free otherwise he would have been looking after cows, doing illegal mining or some other social Vice. NDC misused national resources, not thinking of these important issues even to the point of awarding school feeding contracts to their cronies who then run. NDC are scoundrels for leaving education in tatters and building edifices to glorify themselves.

One of the difference between developed and 3rd world country like is us is the PURCHASING power.To zero it down in the UK here where i reside as long as you work there's nothing you can not do .We even remit some of the money to help relatives back home .Yes standard of living is high here but we can eat whatever food we want,buy latest gadgets etc.So if we have a government who will not waste our resources on Pajeros and V8s,fight corruption and invest the money on educating its citizenry parents would be relieved and so can spend their money on other projects like savings building projects etc.And trust me before we are aware Ghana can be a force to with.Ghana will start working again

Secondary teachers in grade B schools will also be fed free and that will encourage teachers to accept posting to these schools.
Gradually standards in less endowed schools will improve
